On September 1st 2008, people from all across the U.S. will be coming to protest the Republican National Convention in St. Paul. As low income people, we have serious needs in this country and we are outraged that this government spends trillions to carry out occupations and war abroad, while they slash spending for basic human needs at home. We are outraged that is us, poor and working folks that are being sent to kill and be killed in this rich man’s war. On September 1st, we will be marching with others on the RNC to demand an END to the Republican agenda that is waging war on the poor both at home and abroad. We will DEMAND that money be used for HUMAN NEEDS, NOT FOR WAR! On September 1st, we invite low income people to join our Contingent to End the War on the Poor at Home and Abroad in the RNC protest march.
